Children/Youth Programs
ESN Multisport Program (6-8 years) This multi-sport program is offered in partnership with Engage Sport North. Participants will learn physical literacy skills through fun games and activities. These basic sport skills such as jumping, running, throwing and catching will help develop the foundational motor skills for any physical activity. They will try a variety of sports from week to week, which may include Volleyball, Basketball, Track & Field, Badminton, Floor Hockey, Soccer, Dodge Ball, Baseball, Kickball and more. Kids Gym Games (6-9 years) Kids will learn to play a variety of active running, jumping and catching games using a range of school equipment. A great opportunity for kids to stay active and burn off some energy in the long, dark winter months. Family Programs
Family Pickleball (ages 10 to adult) Come out and try pickleball with your family. Parents/Grandparents expected to play with the kids. Beginner level with some instruction on playing and scoring. Some racquets available to use. Bring your own racquet and balls (if you have them). Join the fun! Winter Walking & Wellness for Women (Beginner to Intermediate) Are you ready to walk in PG’s winter wonderland, explore local parks and meet new friends? Join Cheryl as she leads low-intensity hikes to five different City parks throughout Prince George. Enjoy fun activities while we walk and burn off some of those holiday calories. This is all about getting out, enjoying the natural world, and having some fun with like-minded women. Participants should be prepared to walk up to 4 kms. Bring ice grippers for your boots (mandatory) and walking poles (optional). Dress for winter conditions. Adult Yoga - Hatha (ages 15+) Join Daphne for this beginner to intermediate easy-going yoga class. A great way to end your workday or start your evening. This practice includes classic yoga poses that build flexibility and strength.
