Hiking and Nature Exploration for Families (New!)

Take a break from screen-time and embark on a nature adventure! Register now for Hiking and Nature Exploration for Families and explore the wonders of Forests for the World nature park.  Led by passionate naturalists Natasha and Cheryl, embark on a journey to discover the secrets of Shane Lake, meet the park's resident birds and mammals, and learn about the hardy plants thriving in our northern climate.

Short hikes, fun nature games, and fascinating discoveries await! Suitable for all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

When: April 15, 17, 22, and 24

Time: 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Cost: $50 per family

Family Pickleball (new!)   Under 17 year olds welcome with a parent/guardian.  Most players currently @ 11 years old.  Families are expected to participate together.  Paddles, balls, and coaching will be provided.  Cost is $2 dropin.  Fridays, 6pm-8pm at Lac Des Bois Elementary school for May 10th, 17th, 24th, and June 7 and 14.

Community Associations are also partnering with Engage Sport North and the City of PG again for child and youth programs.  Check out the many options available all around town!  Remember you generally don't have to live within the CA to use our programming, so find a sport your family might enjoy and give it a try.

And there is still a great Ukulele jam, every second Tuesday @ 4:30-5:30pm  at the PG Public Library
